I took the night sleeper train from HH to Padang Besar, Malaysia. It was ฿895 each way. I had to spend 1 night in the town then head right back to HH.

P.B. is a pain..., they don't allow visa runs / bounce..., but it's unclear how long you have to stay... So was this you experience LATELY..., 1 night was enough ?

@Tom ********
yes I just went Feb 19-21. I had two friends do the same thing each a week apart, before me. The first friend tried to return the same day and she was explicitly told to spend 1 night then come back the next day. I had zero issues and the agents were nice.

Border bounce is what I need then.
Vernon *********
Cris MurlCatch the train from Hua Hin to Chumpon 4 hours then bus to Ranong 2 hours.

If border bounce Ranong is open.

First clarify if you're talking about a visa run or a border bounce.
