Yes sign in yourself fuck the landlord. So long as you have a lease and all docs in order and find a n8ce immigration guy - not a gtee you should be able to do it yourself. Under thai law the landlord must provide a TM30. If you have all his details give them to immigration. He could be fined or even jailed for not following the law

For an LTRV usual cost is around THB 150,000. I know I have one myself. Docs are a nightmare to upload on their website. Takes months. So whomever gave you that price is a scammer beware

I'd recommend boonma company based in thailand flew my dog to Ireland and back if that's what you want but rabies, health certs are down to local vets. Or in the case of rabies as there is no qualified vet in the entire country, you'll have to send blood sample to the U.K. They make nothing easy here! TIT

well if coming by plane not sure there are ATM'S before passport control. Definitely bureau de change. I'd be careful and bring the required amount in cash.
