Hello. I recently got married and am going to apply for the marriage visa. I am going to Bangkok this week for the US embassy part. Yes I’ve made an appointment but I’m not sure if it’s the right kind. What documents am I supposed to bring? And I hear there’s some documents that need to be notarized or something?

The marriage is done yet with the legal part. Amphour etc

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has recently married and is unsure about the documents needed for applying for a marriage visa in Thailand. They are attending an appointment at the US embassy in Bangkok but are uncertain whether they have the correct appointment and what documentation is required, especially regarding notarization. A commenter questions the necessity of the embassy's involvement since the marriage was legally performed at the Amphur.

If you're married in Thailand legally at the Amphur why do you need the Embassy now?

So your last sentence should start The mammiage is not done yet...All the steps you need to follow are in this article and, depending on your Amphur, can be completed in a few days.

So I got the appointment page printed. I’m trying to find the pdf to actually get notarized. But the embassy page isn’t working. Is this the proper form?
