I got mine a few weeks ago. For the under consideration part they came and visited and said they will do another visit. But at immigration. Once I got the actual stamp. Nothing was mentioned of another visit.
Why are these smooth brain people bringing up completely different visas and different costs? Am I missing something? It’s 500k and it’s Thailand. There are always ways around it. But then your gambling with your visa because they may ask for proof
All offices are different. But I had issues with this. I accidentally used the seasoned money. And replaced it the next day. Immigration refused to accept it.
We spoke to one in the town over and it was the opposite, only marriage with yellow/blue book. I am hearing though that Kasikorn though across the board is quite accepting though.
So ill take one of the issues we had. So we live, literally the furthest i think possible in Thailand from our immigration office. 1.5 hour drive one way. So we got the paperwork, have to go to the bank prior, they usually open up around 830 to 9, so we are there as soon as they open, but prevents us from getting early for the que. THEN, korat immigration is usually quite busy. And we were given the wrong information from the information office, of what we needed for witnesses etc. They even said it was their wrong, so next week, fix the stuff and go back. And again, i believe it was the witnesses signed on the wrong spot or something like that, so that ones shot. But luckily the IO went through the rest of the paperwork and signed off it was ok. Fix that stuff go back again another day. Get a different IO, who then says one of the pieces of paperwork, the directions to our house is not the correct way, regardless of it being signed off by previous IO. And the wait that day was so long we couldnt fix it and bring it back.
