On Samui, my daughter had to go 3 times per week for 2 hours each time. That was in 2016 though. Not sure if it has changed.

Will your child be going to school in Thailand? If so, ask the school they will be attending what's involved. Normally, the school handles the paperwork. Good luck!

Put your son in school, and get a guardian visa on his ED visa. Only one parent can do this, so it works out.

Seriously, you will get different answers at different banks AND it can differ with location too!

We were told we had to have a bank account to get retirement visa, but told by the bank that we had to have retirement visa first. It was a very frustrating catch 22.

If you go to a bank in a high tourist area, your chances are better.

Please be aware that if you don't have an IDP or Thai license, your health insurance will NOT cover you if in an accident. It will also not cover if you're not wearing a helmet or have been drinking. This is info that every tourist should know.

You can do a University Study visa. But go through an agency, past volunteer visas are toxic (as someone else here said).

Thank you! That's probably what her lawyer means. Is to get a new, 90 day Non B.

She has tons of company docs, but the office still being built. I'm sure knowing she can do this will give her piece of mind.

Thanks again. The Non B she is on was a temporary, 3 month Non B. It's the first one. Not sure if that makes any difference.

Ahh. Ok. Thanks! I don't know about multiple entry. So, Non B can be extended? We were told it couldn't be extended.
