Will My Friend's Non O Retirement Visa Extension in Bangkok Cause Issues at Check In?

(Asking for a friend who's not on facebook)

• On Non O retirement

• Extension was due while staying in Bangkok for 1 month, so extended at immigration there.

• His home is in a different district

Will this be a problem at check ins? Will simply refiling the TM30 in his home district suffice? Is anything else needed to prove he was in Bangkok for the month?

Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquires if their friend's Non O retirement visa extension, obtained in Bangkok while the home is in a different district, will cause issues during check-ins. They seek advice on whether refiling the TM30 form in the home district will suffice and if any documentation is needed to prove the duration of stay in Bangkok. Responses indicate that the extension cannot be applied outside the registered province, and emphasize the need to file a TM30 at his home immigration office for proper registration.

, and not to be a party pooper but we're done.

He needs to file a TM30 at the immigration office of the province where he lives now (seeing as he has an extension NOT from that province)

That's how he gets into their system with his address up there so he can do 90 day reports with them

then he does a TM30 stating he now lives back whre he is (seeing as it's a different province from Bangkok) and he might have to do a TM28 change of address, BUT he's for sure going to need to do a TM30 to get IN the system at the immigration office where he lives.

What will he need to take to immigration regarding the bangkok address? I don't think he has a piece of paper with registered address in his passport (like we do)

Non O retirement can not be extended with 1 month

Non O retirement, an 1 year Extension can only be applied at the Immigration office where the address is registered

So please try again to explain what happened, because this story is not correct

OK. His extension was due in Feb, but he was in Bangkok, staying with family, for a month. So he did the extension there (not sure what office). I am sure he used the family's address, where he was staying.

Now, he has traveled back to his "home" district, and is wondering what he will need when going for check in.
