Hello! Is there anyone here who owns a BOI (Board of Investment) company? We have an approved company, and now are adding 2 foreign employees. They just successfully got their visa stamp in Malaysia!
Now I know we have 3 months to get this completely finished with immigration as well as the labor department. Has anyone been through this process? What paperwork is required from immigration and labor department? Which do we have to go to first?
BOI companies are SO different from standard Thai companies, there is not much info out there.
Any input would be appreciated!
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking guidance on the process for hiring foreign employees in a BOI-approved company. They mention having two new employees who received their visa stamps in Malaysia and inquire about the necessary paperwork to complete the process with immigration and the labor department within three months. Other users suggest visiting the BOI office for assistance and highlight that hiring in BOI companies may differ from standard procedures, urging the user to verify requirements with a knowledgeable lawyer.
