Has anyone done the border/visa run to Hadlek from Trat province before? Just wondering if it was fairly straightforward? I’m in Koh Chang right now and thinking of driving down to the border. 🤔

I am currently on Koh Chang and plan to leave few days before 45 day visa exempt expires. Plan was to get 30 day extension at Laem Ngob before heading to Hua Hin.

As I will have checked out of accommodation on KC and not yet be registered in new accommodation, will this be a problem ? I have read they are strict on being correctly registered.

Also, do you need an appointment at Laem Ngob or is walk-in okay ?

Just going on a visa run from Koh Chang to Siem Reap, does anyone know if you have to pay for the Cambodia visa in USD or if you can use Thai baht?

Also, is it best to bring USD for spending in Cambodia as well?
