I’ll add to this ie; Bangkok immigration office (for extensions)

I was at Lak Si getting my extension yesterday and the amount of people only offered the 7 days was insane. The majority of them that I seen refused the 7 days. Also, I’m there very often and this was the least amount of people I’ve ever seen in the 10+ years of using these offices. I would say only about 20% of the old ways. They are going to lose a lot of money with these lack of extensions.

I’ve used the fast track express entry in October. If you like, I can give you the contact I used. It was the easiest entry I’ve ever had. Took all of 5 minutes or less.

yeah right. Good luck with that. My wife’s landlord has never done it for me for the past 10 years. We always have to do it ourselves.

The office for visa exempt extensions is at IT Square in Lak Si. I suggest you make an appointment so you don’t have to wait in that long line up.

I know. The many times I’ve been there, they’ve never let us in at that time. Either way, it’s easily enough to go and get what you red done before the office opens up. I wish IT Square was set up like CW. The only thing I like about IT Square is making an appointment and not having to wait in that crazy line up.

really? When I was there last it wasn’t 5:30am that they let us in the building. It was closer to 6:30ish.

I only go there to file my TM30 which is never busy either. Always the first person to get into see her.

Wouldn’t she still have to take a queue number? I’d think showing up at that time it would mean a long wait. I know shouldn’t question you and your knowledge though 😉.

I’m well aware what time they open up. I take it you have never been there before. Trust me, I know what I’m talking about. I’m there every 4-5 months.

I’m not there that early. I usually arrive around 4-5am so I’m not at immigration all day. I much prefer to be there that early, copy anything I need and relax with the wife and have something to eat and a coffee while I wait for them to open. They usually let you in the building around 7am.
