TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, Canadians are eligible for a 30-day extension on their initial 60-day visa exempt entry into Thailand. They do not require a Visa on Arrival (VOA) as they are granted a 60-day entry exemption. To obtain the additional 30 days, they can apply at immigration for a fee of 1900 baht. It's advisable to make an appointment to avoid long waiting times at the immigration office.
If you have a Canadian passport, you do not need a VOA. You are granted a 60 day exemption, and you can apply at immigration for and additional 30 days for 1900 baht. This gives you 90 days including the day of arrival .

The office for visa exempt extensions is at IT Square in Lak Si. I suggest you make an appointment so you donβt have to wait in that long line up.
For others reading post this you cannot get an extension on a Visa on Arrival (VOA) which gives you 15 days on entry. The OP has a Visa Exempt 60 day entry stamp which is eligible for a one-off 30 day tourism extension.
