it becomes a game when the whole point revolves around trying to get around any legislation put in place. Last week, the advice was to get the O-A visa, this week it isn't liked anymore.Then guess what? Yes, more loophole closures and more legislation.

The advice should be to get an extension. That puts a stop to peoples doubts of the whole situation.

Yes, the Thailand Elite visa works. Now we are seeing problems with running in to the 6th year and is it actually legal.

The very biggest problem and cause of 99% of these visa issue's is social media. Every scam and work around is online for the Authorities to see.

They talk about intelligence and AI technology. All this Thai government need is Facebook and the Thai Visa forum. 🤔

Getting married, does not give you any health cover unless your married to a Thai government worker.

Even then, nobody can say if that is acceptable or not

No booking system in Penang. Just turn up. There is a daily limit of how many they will serve.

I've never noticed the proof of employment in Malaysia before on that list either. It could just apply if you living and working in Malaysia or are Malaysian. No idea if a bus ticket is acceptable there or not. With KL though, you absolutely have to supply what they require or you don't get the visa. I've seen a few reports lately that aren't big on giving visas now if you have a history of visas in your passport.

You also need to book an appointment to lodge your application AND to pick up your passport.
