Hello, once I receive the DTV visa, how can I collect it? Do you have to go to the embassy to have it stuck in your passport? Will it be pasted at the airport?

I have a quick question: do I have to collect the granted visa as soon as possible, within the given date, or can I collect it after two weeks?

I hope you understand me 😊

Hello,

I have a few questions about the tourist visa in Thai embassy in Kuala Lumpur:

1) I have an appointment scheduled for October 20, but there are earlier dates, can I cancel October 20? Unfortunately, I don't see such an option, or should I just take an earlier date and forget about October 20?

2) How long does it take to get a tourist visa, is it collected on the same day or the next day? Do I need to make an appointment to collect visa via this electronic system? I saw this option in the system, so I'm asking.

3) I am planning to come to Thailand by bus/minivan. I must present this ticket when submitting the application, is a declaration enough?

4) As for the departure ticket, just making a reservation without paying for it is enough?

5) In many Thai embassies they demand at least 20,000 thb in the account, apparently not here, do they have any problems with this?

Sorry for poor english. Thank you for your help :)

I’m going to CW to pickup the results of my 1 year Non-immigrant Type O visa. I’m wondering if I will need to bring any additional documents with me, or if I simply need to pick it up? Last time I went, I brought everything with me and my wife and I were interviewed. They stamped my passport with the date I need to go back for results.

I am dreading going to Cheung Wattana next week. I am 70 and sometimes find it very hard to walk. I have had my ‘Thai wife ‘ visa extended here annually for the last 10 yrs and spent a whole day there with my wife a month ago submitting all the papers for an extension. I guess all the papers were okay as the passport was stamped ‘under consideration ‘ and I am required to attend again on 14th which is when I think they usually get another update on my bank book then stamp the passport for another year.

I think (hope) it’s really straightforward but I really don’t want to hang about in the crowds of CW for hours.

I know I am supposed to collect it in person but is there any other way- agent or something of doing things I that I don’t have to be there in person?

Hi all, I just made an appointment with the Thai KL embassy too obtain a visa. I’m assuming I can apply for a 60 day visa (Australian passport holder).

Now I also know I need to make an appointment for collection of visa and passport, because I read it on this very resourceful forum, but for the life of me I can’t find the link to make appointment for collection that was kindly posted somewhere here. Could you please help me here, as I can’t seem to find it on the KL Thai embassy website. Thanks

Hi all, did anyone go for visa to Savannakhet from Ubon Rachathani? Is it easy to find bus to there? And if so, how many hours it will take?

I wanted to save time so I booked flight BKK-Ubon and Ubon-Bkk, but now I'm not sure I can get to the airport on time. If I collect visa at 2pm, can I get to Ubon by 6pm? My flight is at 7pm

Or maybe it's possible to ask/pay more for collecting visa earlier?

Please confirm the processing time at Savannakhet for ED Visa. Drop off documents, then collect visa NEXT DAY in afternoon? Or SAME DAY in afternoon? Thanks! (I will drop documents off on Tuesday morning... so do I collect on Wednesday afternoon?)
