As i said, The Bank of Bangkok, is the Thai clearing house for all International transfers

it was due to it not arriving here in a foreign currency, and then ending up in a Kasikorn account. The bank of Bangkok are the clearing house but i was asking Kasikorn for the FET papers. Thats the problem.

I had some of this before with Kasikorn but for a different reason. I ended up having to go to The Bank of Bangkok head office to get it sorted as it couldn't be done at branch level due to being an International transfer. It actually took over 2 weeks.

In fairness it depends where you live. I use an agent. Its cheaper and easier than 2 trips to Bangkok.

There has been reports of people being denied a first visa in Penang since they have had a come down there if they consider you have a visa history

Back before Christmas i believe the PM demanded a a system be in place by June, linking all this lot up, particularly after the pattaya murderers/ Balcony throwers who all obtained visas when they should never of been allowed them.

How does anybody know this system is or isn't yet in place?

Who really knows apart from going there?
