Agents are saying you require 50,000 to 80,000 baht in your bank for the previous 3 months

@Elly ******
what I'm telling you is based on people applying for an ED visa to attend a language school.

I don't know of anyone who has applied there for a child.

Most people do that in Thailand.

Good luck anyway

@Elly ******
sorry no I don't.

What I can tell you though is that the majority of schools absolutely tell you to avoid KL for ED visas.

KL has always been a problem embassy for ED and Non O visas.

I really cannot understand why you're applying for these visas in KL? It can take anywhere between 2 working days up to a month, depending on circumstances and pass ports.

Even so, you best have all they are asking for
Ron *******
Nobody can give you any answers on what you may or may not need in 10 months time.

At least wait until we see what this new incoming government may impose

They absolutely will not put you back on a flight to Laos as you need a visa to enter Laos.

You'll be going home once you have bought a ticket

If you cannot get a visa in KL, your chances in Manila are the same.

Manila is one of the worst places to even attempt it.

Read the requirements.

Plus they are only open 3 days a week for 2hrs per day.

Kota Bharu is controlled by KL in what they can and cannot do.

If you're going to Hong Kong to apply for a Thai Visa, then you need to have Hong Kong residency to be able to apply.

Hong Kong is now Evisa application only.
