You get a visa via thai evisa system. Outside of thailand. you proof finances via your foreign bank account for that. 3 months visa… you come to thailand, get the 3 months stamp. you then visit a bank and open an account. then you transfer the money. before 3 months are over you visit the local immigration office and extend your stay for 12 months and repeat that every year.

alternatively you get the non-oa and have almost 2 years without money in a thai bank account. time to figure things out.

i would not use any agency. they have no real influence in the process. all they can do it look at your documents.

so now suddenly you come up with totally different numbers than you stated above. isnt that strange? 😅 and which functionality do you use in Revolut app? because you would need to input thai baht in the transfer function. you probably never used it… its different than on Wise… you go to transfers (middle button in the app). top right +. select international. thailand. select your account (i do euro). select transaction type bank (not card!!). enter the amount in thai baht.

maybe you selected a wrong transaction type (card) which comes with extra fees.

you can clearly see the 2,85€ fee that is automatically added / included in the 100. and above you see the rate. so make the math or believe the numbers that the app shows you.
