I'm currently on a 30 day extension which expires 31st January, will be returning to the UK for six months mid March, not planning on being in Phuket long enough to wait the two weeks for the Non-O Visa and need my passport in hand to travel.
My situation is the same, recently recovered and have had a single dose of Pfizer. The UK NHS app shows that I have tested positive and provides a certificate with QR code for this, and also an additional certificate for the one vaccine dose I have received again with a QR code. I am not ready to start my Thailand Pass application so cannot verify if the two certificates I have are acceptable for the Test and Go scheme. Be interested to hear how you get on.
I have a call booked with my GP this coming Tuesday to request their approval and an appointment to receive a second dose of Pfizer 3 weeks after my first dose for urgent overseas travel. Normal wait time for the second dose is 8 to 12 weeks, but your doctor can book it earlier for you. I've not been advised that you cannot receive a second dose if previously infected. Will update you with the outcome.
would I able to have this extension cancelled so I can get stamped in for longer on arrival? I am required to do 10 days quarantine on arrival and then it's a weekend so I won't be able to make any kind of application before expiry. Or should I apply for a visa from the UK prior to departure?
