I'm currently in Phuket and will be making an application tomorrow at the Phuket town immigration office for a 60-Day Covid Extension.

I understand that I may only receive an under consideration stamp and will need to return to the same immigration office on the day I'm advised to do so for a final decision.

If I'm granted the full 60 days, will I be able to then make a Non-O Visa Application based on retirement, or will I need to leave the country at the end of extension?

I'm a UK passport holder with the required funds already in place. I'll be traveling back to the Bangkok or Pattaya area and will probably be making the Non-O application in an immigration office in Chonburi.

If you have all the requirements already in place...why are you messing around with the COVID extension vs getting your one-year extension?

Ask Phuket immigration...re COVID extension if you wish.

What visa are you now on?

Expiring on ?

But if your current permission to stay date is not expiring soon...

When you return to Pattaya Jomtien

Get the one year extension.

I'm currently on a 30 day extension which expires 31st January, will be returning to the UK for six months mid March, not planning on being in Phuket long enough to wait the two weeks for the Non-O Visa and need my passport in hand to travel.
