James Miller, guys thanks for your input, either way, I can return to Thailand with what I have, and regardless of how long I'm stamped in for it is enough time to obtain a new visa as I already have everything else like funds in place and have even retained my rental property whilst away.

I've just read it again, difficult to do as it's covered in stamps, but there's some small print which does say a re-entry permit is required.

have to say, I've had multi-entry visas issued in other countries and never had to get a re-entry permit with a multi-entry visa. Kinda defeats the point.

My current METV 60 day stamp runs until 11th May, I was hoping to do a border bounce to get another 60 day stamp prior to the METV expiry date of 19th May. So where do I stand and what are my options now?
