I visited Thailand end of Sept 24 - beginning Dec 24. 60-day visa exempt + 30 extension. Flying back to Thailand 02 Jan 25 - end of March 25. Any problems envisaged with Thai Immigration at the airport? UK passport holder. Thanks, and apologies if this too basic a question for this group.

I spent a few years in Thailand and Vietnam and am booked to return to Thailand in January.

I'm a UK passport holder and I only plan to spend a few weeks in Thailand. I have onwards travel booked and a hotel booked for the first few days (to recover from the journey) 😊

I can't remember how the visa system works as it has been a few years since I entered last, but I'm pretty sure I just go for the visa exemption?

Is this correct please?...and if so, what is the process for this? Is there a form to be filled out before I go, or do they do it once you arrive there?

Also, is there anything else I need before I fly?

How long can I stay in Thailand for over a year long period, as I am.a UK passport holder I know I get a 60 days visa exempt and I can extend for a further 30 days totalling 90 days, can I leave and stay for a further 90 days?

I flew in and received a 60 day visa exempt on UK passport.

I want to extend for another 30 days, making total 90 days.

Can this be done from your first day of arrival onwards or does it have to be towards the end of the 60 day visa exempt to get the full additional 30 days extension?

Also am I best to extend in Patong office or when I go to Koh phangan? Is there one thats quicker and more efficient you would choose?

With regards to the Jakarta embassy does one just walk in there for a visa appointment? No need to book in advance?

And can a UK Passport holder make the DTV application there?

(uk passport holder) so mid april - may i arrived on 30 days, extended by 30 but had 2 days overstay & paid the fine (local immigration closed & i had to travel to the nearest one), then did cambodia for 30days, and came back to thailand for another 30. im now doing 45 days in vietnam and plan to return to thailand so i can be there for november & christmas, but want to stay as long as possible. what is the earliest date i can return? assuming i need to do 1 more country before i can return, if im wanting to be there for christmas time, and with the 60days on arrival, does this mean you can extend it to 90? thank you! 🙏🙏
