Changes to Thai Consulates in Cambodia and Malaysia

The thai consulate in Phnom Penh and the THREE thai consulates in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur, Penang & Kota Bharu) will go to eVisa online system effect in Oct.

There is no announcement date yet, but they did put out these notices

Be advised.. If you're going to those consulates to apply for visas do it BEFORE they switch over to the eVisa online application system because that's when they'll stop walk up applications.

We are seeing reports that immigration officers at airports have just started issuing 60 day exempt stamps.

If you’ve recently got one could you send a photo (remove any personal details).

Edit. Don’t worry about the pics. It went official at 4pm.

ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS:

6**0 day visa exempt stamp JUST STARTED at the airports now

It's for air or land entry **

**IT IS OFFICIAL

**(and in case you're wondering if that top stamp is a russian entry it is NOT, it's from a Chinese passport, that's why they have the ผ.60-ม.17 before they used to get ผ.30-ม.17 but now it's ผ.60-ม.17 and it's why I posted a "NEW" ผ.60 stamp that didn't exist until they started this 60 day stamp dealy)

Has anybody been to the immigration office in Samut Prakan within the last week or two? It has evidently moved from Bang Pli to Pak Nam but there is some conflicting information. Thanks so much!
