I would have your wife stay in Indonesia. Your spouse is a dependent to your visa. If they need extra info they will need you not her. But I would stay in the same country so if there needs to be a domestic flight taken maybe something could be arranged but again they should not need her.

thank you. I saw news articles from this year March stating Thailand now does recognize same sex marriage. Is that not in the law yet?
