The DTV holder has the right to stay in Thailand for 180 days, which can be extended for an additional 180 days, for a total of 5 years. However, when a frequent traveler or digital nomad has used their 180 days, if they travel abroad and return, will they continue to use the remaining days from the initial 180 days, or will a new 180-day period begin? Additionally, since this visa is a multiple-entry visa, can the visa holder enter and exit Thailand as many times as they wish?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A holder of the Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) can indeed enjoy a new 180-day period each time they leave Thailand and re-enter, as it is classified as a multiple-entry visa. This means that after utilizing the initial 180 days, they can exit Thailand and return to receive a new 180-day stay, as long as their visa is still valid.

Each time you leave you will get another 180 days until the validation of your visa expires meaning if you enter on the last day of your visa you will get 180 days

this isn't the case, it explicitly states in the Royal Gazette announcement stamp is for 180 days BUT not more than the validity of the visa. Used be the case you could use this trick to get another year out of Elite if you enter on the last day but they changed that too a few years ago, now 5 years = 5 years.
