Each time you leave you will get another 180 days until the validation of your visa expires meaning if you enter on the last day of your visa you will get 180 days

this isn't the case, it explicitly states in the Royal Gazette announcement stamp is for 180 days BUT not more than the validity of the visa. Used be the case you could use this trick to get another year out of Elite if you enter on the last day but they changed that too a few years ago, now 5 years = 5 years.

I will not deny that however this is what I was informed from MFA head of consular department around a month ago anyway it is a great visa
