Why is my DTV visa application pending approval for so long after submitting additional documents in Paris?

Have applied for a DTV at the end of July in Paris (e-visa). It went very quickly to pending approval. Then back to pending documents check and got asked for more documents. I gave them everything within 2 days and my DTV is pending approval ever since 😭 ( while I see everyone getting theirs in 10 days or less here )

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user applied for a Thai DTV visa in Paris, which quickly moved to pending approval but has been stuck there for an undetermined period, unlike others who received theirs within 10 days. Comments from the community varied, with some expressing frustration at the Paris embassy's efficiency, while others suggested that approvals often happen closer to travel date, and some found success by directly emailing their embassy.

I emailed my embassy (Finland) 2 days before flight about it, and got it in 1hour. I wrote "URGENT about evisa" in the subject line

My date of travel start on 10 September. We're almost, still on pending approval from the Embassy in Paris.

Sometimes the embassy will issue it close to the date of your travel. There’s nothing to worry about if it has been Pending Approval for awhile now.

Anonymous participant at NYC I noticed that they issue 2-3 days before the planned travel.
