if you have a LongTerm Visa [Ed visa, Type-O, work, Elite, LTR,etc] then yes you can do the 90 day reporting...if you don't have a Long Term visa and just want to stay here, that is not how it works for the 90 day report...good luck

you can only get the METV in a country where you are a Passport holder of or have legally recognized Proof of a Residency permit in said Country (I.E: a Residency card issued via a customs office in said country)...

just take a trip back to the country you are a Passport holder of or have legal residency in and apply there that is the only way to do it......

SETV you can apply at any Thai Embassy/Consulate cost is 1,900 THB

I forgot to put the important word in there…there us no official limit on the METV so you can get as many back to back as you like

SETV Single Entrance Tourist visa, basically once you arrive the visa is complete, the visa is good for 60 days you can extend it for ฿1,900 at your local immigration office for 30 days giving you a total of 90 days in Thailand……..

METV Multiple Entrance Tourist Visa which means you can come and go as much as you want in the 6 months that’s it’s valid for, the METV each time you enter you receive a 60 day stamp which can be extended for 30 days at a price of ฿1,900 at your local immigration office, in total you can get 9 months in Thailand on the 6 Month METV…

the METV can only be purchased in a country(s) you hold a passport in or have a residency in, there is NO official limit on how many METV you can purchase in a row …

the SETV can be purchased at any Thai Embassy/Consulate fir a cost of ฿1,900, the unofficial limit is 3 SETV’s in a row but it’s unofficial so nobody knows, the Embassies and Consulates have a not so great communication system with the Royal Thai Police…good luck

You can apply for the 6 Month METV visa if you qualify for it, you can obtain this in your passport holding country(s) or a country where you are resident of, you can get 9 months out the 6 Month visa with a border bounce around the expiration date....there is the 60 Day SETV for 1,900 THB and extend it for 1,900 THB for a total of 90 day in Thailand...you can apply for multiple SETV's in a row however you most likely will get denied if you try to get 3 in row from the same Thai Embassy/Consulate... you get 2 land border crossing per calendar year (01 Jan - 31 Dec) and each one of these can be extended for 30 days at your local immigration office for 1,900 THB...there is no official amount of Fly Ins at airports but eventually you will get that one over zealous Immigration officer that says otherwise, all Visa waiver stamps can be extended for 30 days at your local immigration office for 1,900THB...prices are still pretty cheap here and the weather is still tropical...good luck

You can it will cost ฿2,500 in fees for overstays (฿500 per day of overstay)…or…you can go to your local immigration office and apply for a 30 day extension for ฿1,900, save ฿600 along with time at the airport…good luck
