I'm in chanthaburi. Old China town by the river are nearly all made from wood very beautiful and been there for hundreds of years. I would definitely go for a old seasoned one and make sure it's on stilts. Thais tell me teak is the way to go but expensive. Good luck with your project 👍

I agree but I needed to come straight back to Thailand and the rules have changed from back then. Legally your required to spend some time in Cambodia. You can I believe pay the Cambodia side 300b to come back same day. That's roughly 1300b for visa and 300b passage. I decided to pay the extra money for time and easy.

you think so? If you want to wait many hours in the scorching sun and be forced to spend one or more nights in Cambodia then yes it's 30 dollars

fixer is someone not attached to the authority legally but knows all the tricks to get you through immigration at speed and without questions. Basically gets you what you want. You don't have a lot of choices as soon as you're through the thai side they are on to you instantly
