remember too that getting a tourist visa from an embassy still does not guarantee immigration would grant entry. The two are not connected.

this. worked for me for years now with no question from immigration, Also update your bank book monthly so if there is a query from immigration about the bank letters you can show the transactions from the letter in your bank book too.

Same here. Because of covid I couldn't go to bkk to get a new passport. I got extended to the expiry date of the passport. Just means you have to pay to renew in less than 12 months.

pleasure. Theres always gossip mate. This site is the only place I get visa advice from. Must remember that some immigration offices interpret the rules in their own way though, so if your unsure ask at the immigration office you intend to use.
