No need to get upset, I am just pointing out that people have different experiences with immigration, particularly in different provinces. So, your usually after 4 days comment, should have the caveat that it is only in your experience and in your immigration office.

If I go in person (as I had to do a year ago when I got a new passport) it takes me around 15 minutes. Online it has never been more than 48 hours in the last 5 years. maybe you should move to Samut Prakan....😂

Are you asking as a visa related question or a taxation related question?

Don't worry, there is no longer a letter requirement. I just renewed my passport a few weeks ago, Just go along to immigration and explain you have a new passport, have copies of your new passport info page (with the photo) and old passport info page, also entry stamp and extension stamps. Remember, that you will also have to update your tm-30 otherwise online 90 day extension will not work. I have a form letter in Eng/Thai from the UK Embassy explaining that they have agreed that no letter is needed anymore, but the group rules do not seem to allow me to attach it here. There is a pdf, available that states this in both English and Thai, and I am pretty sure I got it from a leading member of this group, but I am not allowed to attach it or show it to you due to group rules.

Yep, that's right, sadly Pak Nam was always further for me and often had problems finding a parking spot☹️

I have not had a problem with the 90 day reporting online since they switched to the new system a couple of years ago.

Well, that is encouraging for the OP at least 👍😃

I have not heard of any Immigration office that allows extensions 60 days in advance, the best you can hope for is 45 days, but you have not told us which office you will use. I suggest you visit your local immigration office and explain your situation.
