TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking a sample letter for a bank reference to document monthly overseas income necessary for renewing a 50+ visa extension in Thailand. Comments from the community advise on obtaining a bank letter, noting the need for it to be from the appropriate bank branch corresponding to the immigration office.
My immigration office would not accept the letter from my Bangkok bank branch , the letter had to be from the bangkok bank branch where the immigration office was, which was exactly the same letter but with a different stamp ,as my local branch had done for me

not all banks will print it and this example letter is from a bangkok bank branch in Chiang Mai.
You go to your branch where you have the account, walk in and ask for the letter that shows your monthly income on your account for at least the last 12 months.
There are no letters needed to apply for this service at your bank
oh I thought there had been an example posted on here previously to show the bank. I was going to show then it as i live in rural sakon nakhon and there are few expats in my area. I must have been mistaken. Many thanks.
I've had the account for ages. Money I and out all the time. I'll get a print out but ill also get the letter confirming its from overseas as well. This branch do try to be very helpful, but as there are few expats in my area this example letter may be helpful in explaining exactly what I need from them, if they are unfamiliar with the process.
My advice is either swap to a more able branch or if they can’t service you get them to call head office for guidance.
I’m with Bangkok bank now and walked out and took my cash from local branch when on year 3 of doing it decided they didn’t know what they were doing anymore.
They have simplified it now and just just hand over passport and bank book and it’s printed off in moments where before it was less automated.
if my branch don't know what to do they do always contact their main office and get an English speaking operator, although I always have my thai wife with me. They really do try hard to accommodate me.
