 All these documents have barcodes on them. But they can only be read by the computer system of the company/organisation which made them.

They can easily check to see if you got approved while in Thailand too. Which means you might have used an agent and will probably get it cancelled as well.

Asking for proof of funds would be the most logical way to see if you still qualify for a DTV. As we all know Thailand is all about the money.

 Sure is. I also went there last week to update my mobile number. Nothing said about providing a TIN or my home country Tax ID.

 I've had a Thai bank since 2015. Stayed longer than 180 days in a few years and haven't paid any tax.
