as I said I’m in Pattaya , about 3 hour taxi fare each trip .. could take a bus , cheaper but longer 😉

to Bangkok .. come home that’s 2

Go back to collect from BKK and go home that’s 2 again .. =4 .. and taxis fares x4 ..

understood BUT , I weighed up .. effectively 4 trips to Bangkok , and possible stay in hotel twice .. the cost works out negligible imo .

Easy visa I’m in Pattaya .. 10,000 bht , 10 year door to door , took 3 weeks .. this was in 2018

Can I do a budget border run from Hua Hin to Laos or Malaysia within 1-2 days based on my visa history?

Maybe you can do a border run on same day return but if it’s from Hua Hin to Laos I don’t think the driver would Or Should be doing that

no , it’s means you can come and go as much as you want , just saves you applying for a re entry every time you leave .. if you intend too or maybe leave the LOS on many occasions, then it’s worth getting a multi entry

No .. ( well even if they did you’d have to go back to the airport the next day anyway to collect it , longer if you did it on a Friday ) but I’ve never heard of airport immigration doing anything like that .
