Still a little bit confused.. ok I got my extension based on retirement yesterday.
No problem what so ever .. and I also got this , which I was aware of but didn’t know how it would be presented so to speak .. anyway the officer gave it to me and pointed to the date ,Oh right I said , then noticed the date , I said , I might not be here in the country on this date ? , it’s ok he said no problem ... Er , “ ok do I come back after my return which could be late January? .. no no he said , and pointed again to the date on the paper 🤔. Then he moved onto the next customer ... I’m a bit in limbo ... 😂🤔.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user recently received a retirement visa extension in Thailand but is confused about the implications of the extension date. After receiving the extension, the immigration officer mentioned the date on the document but did not clarify what the user should do if they plan to leave Thailand before that date. This has left the user in a state of uncertainty regarding their visa status and future travel.
