Apply for a non o visa in Hanoi as this gives you 90 days. You need ฿800,000 in a thai bank account for the subsequent extension.

If you wish to use the ฿65,000 per month rule you need to deposit this every month for the 1st year and you can apply for another 12-month extension in the 2nd year
