All weekend courses. 9 credits would be for example 3 courses (3 credits each) and each course is over 5 school days. Spread out over weekends.

If doing it at maximum per semester, it's closer to 30K per half year in school fees. It's pay per credit. Theres a minimum amount of credits you need for immigration to accept it and provide a visa, and a maximum of what is allowed per semester. I think minimum is 9 credits, and maximum is 21.

Sign up at a known language school learning Thai. That'll give you a year's worth of visa.

Or sign up to study at a university. Theres some cheap bachelor degrees around that will both give you a visa for up to 6 years, and land you a degree if you finish. Cost is somewhere around 15K baht per half year in school fees, to satisfy the minimum requirements for getting a visa from immigration.

Bachelor can be had (if only doing the minimum required courses each semester) for around 15K baht per half year in school fees. Plus the 1900 baht for extension every 6 months.

You could sign up for school yourself. Studying.

There are cheap bachelors out there, in Thailand, that will get you a visa for the duration. Up to 6 years. Half year at a time.

Or sign up to learn thai.

sure you can. Just redo it enough times until they get tired of you 😂

Witnessed an elderly man doing the three tests (color, peripheral vision, reaction) and botched them again and again. He was helped enough to finally get through anyway.

Owner has a Facebook group too by the same name Thai citizenship group

You won't find more accurate information of that matter than there.

Validated by lots of people who have already gone through it.

if you are married to a Thai national, you can skip the permanent residency part entirely, which is the costly part.

nope. Permanent residency will cost a total of around 200K all in. Citizenship application cost 5K. So with all the fees for legalizing documents etc, 10K sounds about right for that.

Look at your license. It will say when it expires exactly. For the bank account as long as there are occasional transactions to or from it, to keep it active, you can keep that as long as you want to.
