Thanks for adding me to the group!

Please go gentle on us - I’m looking to purchase a resale elite visa with longer than 20 year validity. Hoping that one of you may have a couple of them to sell. Please DM me. Many thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking to purchase a resale Elite Visa with more than 20 years validity, but there is uncertainty surrounding the transferability of such visas. Comments indicate that recent Elite Visas may not be transferable, and confirmation on this is requested from others in the community, citing the possibility that this could vary based on immigration regulations.

it’s not long enough - I’m 38 and my wife is 42. 30 year would allow us to plan long term (into retirement)

thanks Michael. I’ve only just started this search so your feedback is valuable. I’m looking for options before going with the stock standard visa agent option.

retrospect wish i had bought one but that time has passed. No one trusted Thaksin at the time. Not that i had a million baht spare then though 20 odd years ago

As far as I know the more recent elite visas are no longer transferable. At least that is what I heard from someone who purchased one before covid.

It’s your lucky day, I’ve got 2 for sale as well as a beach front property in Afghanistan if you’re interested.😀

Is the beach front still available? I will trade you a whole country. Its called Bir Tawil, and is currently not claimed by any other authorities.

I think it’s not been claimed because it’s just sand and rock, I may be interested if it has oil and would you accept Bitcoin?

The Afghan property that’s available is stunning but has noisy neighbours, lots of gunfire at night and there’s some noisy donkeys to, must be some sort of brothel nearby.

I didn't think you could resell an elite visa, I thought it was made to one person and not transferable? I have never heard of reselling a visa ... Maybe it is possible as long as immigration are happy .. I can't be 100% sure because I don't know ... Maybe someone can confirm if it's possible 🤔🙂

I believe they could be transferred to a dependant for a fee once but not sold generally to any Tom Dick or Somchai!

Early Thai Elite was transferable… to anyone .. they still are but hard to find . Once transferred you lose some of the benefits

There are at least 2 large Facebook groups dedicated to Elite visa. This would be much better posted on those.
