I've read through the post on the topic here on this page, regarding reporting tm30 using the app. Just want to confirm.

I have to report using it for the first time tomorrow, when we arrive home from holiday in krabi.

Am I right to assume that choosing visa type is not mandatory, but as I am on extension of stay based on marriage I would choose the Non-O (LA)?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks confirmation about the necessity of selecting a visa type when reporting TM30 via an app for the first time, specifically if they should select 'Non-O (LA)' since they are on an extension of stay based on marriage.

Does your local immigration office still require filing TM30 when returning home from traveling inside Thailand? Many offices not requiring it.

I am not sure. When I got them to fix user/pass for the tm30 app for me in September, it was still required. Last time I was there was in November for 90 days. No mention of tm30, but I also did not ask. I will just do it tomorrow to be safe, and ask them at my next 90 days.
