I have a question related to applying for the first time extension for the purpose of retirement. I will enter Thailand using Non-O Visa and I intend to apply the extension around 45 days before the visa expires. Would the required 800K deposit have to be transferred from abroad or showing existing funds in Thailand is sufficient? I intend to apply at Chaengwattana Office. Thank you for all the answers.
I'm preparing for my first 90 day report in Bangkok on a DTV.
The official website lists the following documentation for an in-person report:
1. Passport
2. Departure TM.6 card (TM.6)
3. Notification of staying over 90 days (in case of having already notified of staying over 90 days)
4. Fill in details in TM.47 form and sign your name
I don't have a TM.6 (I understand they may have been stopped years ago?). I also understand the TM.6 has more recently been replaced by the TDAC but I don't have one of those yet either. Can I just ignore this section?
Secondly, for my first 90 day report can I do it in person at the new One Bangkok office (I understand the Chamchuri Square office has closed, although it is still listed on the official website).
Waiting for approval of my ext of stay stamp which I’m to go get on the 28th. That day I’ve stuff I have to attend making it difficult to get out to CW. So I’m wondering if going the next day to collect my stamp is allowed without penalty.
Hi, I'm here on the DTV visa and need to do 90 day report soon. Can someone confirm that I should be going to IT Square Laksi rather than Chang Wattana? (have heard people going to CW were directed to IT Square). Also I wanted to book the appointment on-line but the IT Square choices do not include 90 day reporting.
It has been awhile since I’ve arrived using the visa exempt stamp. Unfortunately, I have a deadbeat landlord who refuses to file the TM30 for me. In the past, I’ve always went to CW to file the TM30, as I was on a Non-O visa.
I’m wondering, which office do I go to file the TM30 when arriving using the visa exempt stamp?
I am currently on a one-year Single Entry Visa based on marriage. I'm wondering if it's possible for me to apply for a Multiple re-entry Permit at the Immigration Office in Chamchuri Square Building.
My non-o visa, which is based on marriage to a Thai citizen, is expiring in January and my first annual extension is due. Does anyone know if it's possible to start the process 45 days in advance in Bangkok?
How easy is it to cancel my extension of stay (based on studying a university degree). Based in BKK so chaengwattana office. Does it take a long time? Lots of paperwork? Queue? Or is it more like a walk in and get it done thing? TIA
Hi there, I am trying to get a month extension for an exemption. I entered and got stamped at Krabi airport, can I get an extension from Bangkok if I go directly to chaengwattana office?
