Just check-in online - in the process you will be asked to attest that you have all the necessary documents for entry - tick the box and you are good to go. Why anyone bothers with the check-in counter is beyond me.

I've never heard of an immigration officer "reassessing visa rights" of visa holders. Their concern is generally with those entering visa exempt. I expect changes to the DTV to eliminate the apparent loophole that is issuing 5 year visas to attend a 1 month cooking class or single medical appointment. But I think those that already have DTV's should be safe.

the extension option for this visa makes no sense to me. The visa is for unlimited entries for a 5 year period. Why pay 10k to get it extended, why not just do a border bounce? It is astounding that they are giving out 5 year visas for single medical appointments. TIT

Can you do it at any office or only where you reside?

Can you not do it online the first time? And how many days prior to 90 can it be done?

It's good. Should speed up entry and improve efficiency. They are merely leveraging technology, anyone who struggles with this shouldn't be travelling.

well that's entirely different and not what you asked. Buying 50 bikes and selling parts daily is a business obviously.

Why would it be illegal? You could sell the whole bike or parts, makes no difference. Selling an item is neither "work" nor a "business". Do you really think Thai authorities are chasing after people on Facebook marketplace?

I did exactly that a couple years ago. My visa didn't come through and I had to enter exempt. Got to front of line at 11:55pm so I let the guy behind me go ahead of me. The extra day saved me from an overstay.
