Hey! I've applied for a Canadian SETV (Ottawa) on the eVisa Thai embassy website. It's been around 30 days since and it's still in its first "processing, pending document check" phase. I've read online it can take up to 1 month but most people receive it within 2-3 weeks. My flight is January 23, should I be worried? Is there anyone that can tell me how long it took to get their SETV/METV?

I just entered Thailand with a Multiple entry visa a 60 days from Canada. It is good for six months. I understand that i need to exit the country to get another 60 days during that six months. First question: i know that if i cross the border by land i only get 15 days instead of 30 days compared to flying as per regular visa run. Is it different with this type of visa?

Second question: let’s say i come back to Thailand on month 5.5 of my visa, do i get 2 weeks or i get another 2 months?

Thanks

Applying for a O, OA or OX visa.

How do you prove your monthly income? Does it have to be deposited into a Thai bank account? Or just have proof from your home bank?

Hi I’m having trouble finding the visa that I can apply to as a Canadian. What kind of visa would be best if I want to stay approximately 6 months in Thailand? I may also be in neighbouring countries such as Singapore depending on my situation. Need some info on this and thanks everyone in advance .

Where do I start in order to get Thai person to be able to visit Canada. Where do I get the forms and all documents needed?..Is there a checklist or even a good company that can provide this service?

And yes I know we are not going there till the whole covid thing is relaxed but I heard the process can take some time so might as well start the travel visa.

Thank you

Visa extension letter for Canadians is not possible. I received an email from the consulate today.

"Issuing a letter to allow you to stay in the country is not one of the service we provide. We are unable to issue such letter because we can not prove whether your reason to stay is genuine. What we can provide is an affidavit letter where you need to apply for it in person at the Embassy in Bangkok. It’s a free of charge. You will need to bring your passport with you when you come to apply. The Embassy can not guarantee if the letter will be accepted. It is up to the Thai Immigration whether they will consider accepting the issued letter or not."
