It has previously been announced that the vaccine available in Thailand (free for Thai citizens)will be the Astra Zenica/Oxford one. The same as that being given now in the UK
not sure where you are getting your information from, but the Australian government health department information, states that vaccination will begin for Australians in March 2021 and will initially only be available for healthcare and other frontline workers in addition to the elderly and medically vulnerable. It is anticipated that by the end of 2021 all Australians will have access to the vaccine. I think it's very unlikely that any vaccinated Australians will be travelling here in January
I can't see Australians being permitted to holiday in Thailand in January. There are still 36,000 Australians outside Australia waiting for quarantine places in Australia. Can't see them adding hordes of tourists to that number, nor can I see Australia dropping hotel quarantine for returning Australians until maybe the third quarter of 2021
you don't need to use an agent though, all those services can be done by yourself. This is just for people who need hand holding through the process and don't mind to pay for that
French and British women were also taken off planes and vaginally examined. Women from 10 planes were removed and examined. This incident just describes the experiences of the women on the London to Sydney flight
Yep, women and girls from age 11 upwards, travelling with this airline, and transiting in places like Doha and Dubai risk this happening to them ie internal vaginal examination under armed guard without consent or explanation. It happens more frequently than most travellers were aware of. Your embassy wont help you and you cannot access legal assistance. This wasn't the first time, and wont be the last
I think it is OK if you have no assets like vehicles or property here. Or no commitments like pets or a Thai spouse/children. If everything you own fits into a suitcase or can be sold quickly and easily if you are deported, it may be worth the risk. For most expats it is not, as they have too much to lose
and it is not an education visa that they need. That is for studying in Thailand and is currently only being issued for studying at university level or being a school aged student and studying in a primary or high school here. It is a non B work visa that they require which would allow them to work as teachers
I'm wanting my son to come to Thailand next year so that I can go back to Australia to do some professional developmement and contact hours, so I am watching things carefully. As it stands now my son and I would have to do expensive hotel quarantine both ways and he would need to have $22K in his bank account for 6 months, just to enter Thailand on a 60 day tourist visa or a STV. I am hoping that things may relax later next year
