How Can I Report My TM30 While Sick Without Contacting My Landlord?

I have always updated my TM30 by going into immigration myself. I arrived back in Thailand last night and so planned to go in to immigration today. However I have woken up sneezing and with a sore throat. I am not keen to risk spreading whatever I have caught to immigration staff and other immigration attendees, especially given that I have been in Singapore over the past two weeks (including yesterday), but also I don't want to get a fine or have problems when renewing my visa in May. I have searched the previous posts in the group to find out the process for online TM30 reporting and feel even more confused. I see that an admin in the group has advised "not to pretend to be a landlord" and that the "TM30 online system doesn't exist so that any tourist can register people staying anywhere". So does that mean that a tenant cannot set up/use the online TM30 system. Having my landlord attend immigration in a timely fashion instead of me will not work as he lives and works out of town and when I tried to get him to register my son who was staying with me a few years ago, my landlord did not appreciate the urgency of the matter and didn't report within 24 hours of my son's arrival despite me having provided an explanation in Thai. My Landlord does not speak English

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on how to report their TM30 registration while feeling unwell and without the ability to have their landlord report it on their behalf, due to their landlord's inconvenient location and previous handling of similar situations. They express concern about potential fines and the process for online TM30 reporting.

If you use the immigration app on an iPhone you can register as a tennant - (individual not duristic). Not sure if android app is the same. Have a copy of the landlords blue book and tenancy agreement and your passport to upload and you should be ok to register ( that is what I attached to my registration)

You could always go to a doctor, get diagnosed, and get a certificate to say you're sick. If you feel better in a couple of days, go check in TM30. They MIGHT accept doctor's certificate, if not you're no worse off, except you know what you've got

Maybe theres a way someone speaking Thai gets in touch with them and explain the situation?

If your office accepts reporting by mail, mail it in dated for within 24 hours of your return.

still requires going out in public, when I had intended to self quarantine for 14 days

with 70+ immigration offices and you not saying where you are it's a little tough to tell you what will happen.

I'd say go as soon as you can, and just suck it up that you'll most likely get fined (the minimum they charge people is 800baht and the most I've seen them charge is 1600baht)..

Chiang Mai, usual fine here is 1600 baht

The only bad thing that will come of it will be a fine up to 2000. If you’re genuinely concerned I’d just go in as soon as possible after you’re feeling better and hopefully you’ll get a sympathetic officer. My opinion only

and where did you get that "up to 2000baht" number? Most people get fined 800 baht and a few 1600baht but that's the most I've seen for failing to file a TM30 on time.
