Can anyone with a Kasikorn bank account who uses the 65K transfered from overseas monthly via Transferwise to meet their visa requirements, tell me if this month's deposit of 65K in their Kasikorn bank account was coded as FTT or as a SMART transfer or something else? Thanks

TW have 2 partners in Thailand - Bangkok and Kasikorn - both my transfers have gone via Kasikorn this week even though they are tagged to go via Bangkok bank to make sure shown as international - TW not very helpful - first time said it was a tech issue - following day said it was using the most efficient and cost effective way for customers and the tag no longer works 😞

Garrett, yes but then you're paying a hell lot more then the 230THB per 1000 Euro you pay via TW I suppose

But I read here somewhere that you can go to the Kasikorn head office, pay a small fee and get a statement from them that all these transfers where international.

Can't confirm this though.

Garrett Greenwald this doesn't solve the international transfer problems. But he can put 400k in a savings account and 400k in an interest bearing account. Then yearly transfer the second 400k to the savings account for the requirement months.

Garrett Greenwald exactly, while bringing the equivalent of 65K baht into the country monthly, remains an option for fulfilling the requirements of getting a "retirement" visa or extension, I would prefer to have the bulk of my money working for me in my own country

you cant - its not an intern. transfer - only bangkok does declare it as internat - and give you a paper -
