no guarantees of arriving back to Australia. If you’re looking for a holiday then this it not the right time. I’ll be travelling long term (1 year) so only need a one way ticket. Also need to do 15 nights quarantine when you arrive in Bangkok, not cheap.
Singapore airlines is allowed to operate semi commercial flights. Follow the embassy Facebook pages they post updates and guides there. I will be booking for January but not ready yet.
You need:
-Exemption to leave Australia
-A visa (must meet conditions)
-COE
Not an easy process and not for the usual holiday.
not joking, I have my exemption to leave Australia already. We are not looking to travel to a lot of places but I’ll be visiting a few sth East Asian countries next year. If we only end up in only 2 countries over the year that’s okay too.
the embassy Facebook has posted about STV, have they gone back on this? I thought we could apply, i’ve just saved the link and haven’t followed anything through yet. I’m just waiting on my house sale to be completed.
