Go back to your Home country, Philippines. Not too far away. Thai Bank account ok, for proof of your funds.

Put your DTV number in the visa number field and leave departure flight, it’s not mandatory. As soon as they scan your passport they know you have DTV. Most likely no questions asked, especially if you are freelance working

Put you name EXACTLY as it is on your passport. That is what the embassy check against. Any deviation from the name in your passport will result in rejection of your application

Probably easier and maybe cheaper to pop out of Thailand for a night or two, and back into Thailand for another 180 day stamp with minimal questions asked, if any. Look at it as a short holiday to be enjoyable, rather than visa cost

It might be more plausible if you had more than 1 rental property, hence requiring property portfolio management.

Just having rental income from 1 property would more likely be viewed as you had an income to support another reason for DTV application

Find an appropriate flight from your destination to Thailand, for the time you want to fly to Thailand. Use the flight number in your application. Same goes for accommodation. Book a hotel or apartment on Booking.com or similar, and use the booking confirmation in your application.

Option 2 but you have to apply online in Lao anyway. Wait for your original application to expire (14 days), go to Lao and start a new application. No money wasted. Make sure you correct your original error 2nd time round 😉

Anonymous participant it’s a small fraction of what happens in Thailand daily life. Thailand is rich in cultural delights. If you live here long enough you appreciate the country, the people increasingly. I love this country

Anonymous participant Yes, and during the infamous street battles in 2010. That was a little more scary.

Don’t worry, I’ve lived through 2 coup’s in Thailand as an Expat. Just obey the curfew rules and you will be fine
