Hi, I am a UK citizen, and my 60 day visa exempt stamp expires on 9th April. I would like to apply to extend the stamp by 30 days at the local immigration office. Is it too early to do that yet, or do I need to go on 9th Aril ?
Your advice will be much appreciated.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A UK citizen with a 60-day visa exempt stamp expiring on April 9th is seeking advice on whether they can extend this stamp by 30 days at the local immigration office before the expiry date. Community responses suggest that it is advisable to avoid waiting until the expiry date to apply for an extension. Some comments indicate that different immigration offices may have varying timelines, with some allowing extensions 30 to 45 days in advance, while others may only require you to apply 7 days before expiry.
Most offices are 30 days before, some are 45, and a couple are 7, so without knowing where you are going to apply, we can't really give a definitive answer.
Can you read? I specifically asked the OP where he was going, and gave him the correct info for that office. (Had he said Jomtien, I would have said 7 days, but he didn't , so I didn't)
