Yes, very easily. I came in March 2020 on vacation and just stayed on.... I've lived in great places in Thailand.... Hua Hin, Samui, Koh Phangan, and currently in Phuket. I rent condo (have pool and gym). Quality of life is excellent (under $1500/month never over and as low as 1000).... I travel regularly within Thailand. Never been happier... Freedom 🙏

I think it is a great idea if you are doing it for personal living. If you are doing it as an investment (buy to rent).....I think there are and will be better opportunities going forward.

Yeah, obviously not new but studios in condominiums in Jomtien (about 5 miles from Pattaya) advertised for about 950 000 Baht regularly. I think this price can go down further going forward, as more and more people scramble for the exits). There is a huge glut of properties all over Thailand (often people are waiting for things to get back to normal). Also fair to note...many levy and upkeep payments are not being honored at the moment....you can see a lot of the gym's equipment is getting worse and in need of major service.

The next time you come here... If it is possibly love.... Consider buying her property that won't break the bank... You can get a studio condo in Jomtien for $30 000 or less.

One common denominator.... Governments around the world are by and large, useless. All they really know is that you are a citizen, so pay taxes!!!

Not terrible getting stuck in Thailand and laundry very reasonable... About 40 Baht/kilo... They will washout, but ironing not included
