Big fat "everything else" topic here. For basic supplements what is your go-to in Thailand? Shopper fine or will I get random filler without the actual supplements? The local gym has a few dusty things on a shelf behind the counter clearly aimed at tourists with more money than sense.

Hi. New to the group and unfamiliar with how the country works. How easy/hard is it to move here from the uk and buy a property outright and live here permanently? Guessing what I read on official websites and the realities are two different things. I’m on an Irish passport and the wife is on a uk passport. Thanks

Hey guys

What did you put in for the 5 years plan ? Not sure what to explain. Was thinking of saying staying for 1,5 years travel outside of Thailand and then coming back but how does that work with leaving after 6 months for visa run ? Do you have to explain the visa run as well ?

Cheers for any advice 🙏

So i'm interviewing for several teaching positions. Most of them pay about $1000-$1200 USD monthly for about 24 hours of work per week. Im also going to be doing my remote masters so I will have some.student loans supplementing my income to around $2300/month Total which i understand is doable but not luxurious.

My question is about the contract. Most contracts are from may to March and then you can be hired on again starting the following may. But am I expected to leave for those two months? Or is there an extension that would allow me to stay for those 60 days until i secure the next teaching contract?

I have a Thai bank account only because I have a Non-O marriage visa. It’s got the B400k but it is only for demonstrating proof of funds. I gave my Thai wife the remainder of our cash and assets so I don’t need money.

Hi all, I tried using Sinbi Muay Thai gym in Rawai for the soft power visa however they advised that they stopped providing supporting documentation for the soft power visa.

Can anybody recommend a high quality Muay Thai gym in Phuket that is offering the supporting documentation for the soft power DTV visa please?

I'm looking for recommendations for Muay Thai gyms in Chiang Mai that offer BEGINNER classes for the over 50 crowd, I mean BEGINNERS beginner. That also do DTVs.

I would attend every class, but I'm a slightly older person who hasn't done any workouts in probably close to 3 years.

I will being going to Chiang Mai on a visa exempt for 60 days to check out places for muay thai and language school and then will hopefully apply from Hanoi.

Hello friends. Preparing to use my DTV and spend significant time in Thailand. My team works west coast U.S.A. hours, so I'd be working 9pm - 6am on weekdays. Is it possible to still enjoy a good quality of life in Thailand as basically a graveyard shift worker? Any insights are appreciated.
