Has anyone had any problems with a Thai friend getting into the UK for a holiday, and meet a friend?

The wife's got a uk residence permit that runs out in June. We are no longer going to reside uk. I'm british. However we need to go back in July for family gathering. So was planning on getting her 10 year tourist visa. Does anyone know if I would have issues. I think I read somewhere can't do a visa for 6 months after one expires? I know this a thai visa forum but I joined a couple of uk ones to try find the answer and no posts ever get answered, hoping someone from uk maybe done similar. Also while I'm on I've come in on a non o visa. Last I had was pre covid, what do I need to extend to a year. I'm sure last time I did was pretty straight forward and have to have 400k in bank any advice appreciated save me having go immigration twice

Need information from anyone who has successfully applied for a UK tourist visa for their girlfriend. Mine is full time employed at as a hotel receptionist and can get a proof of employment letter. Also have both names on our 12 month condo rental contract. What else does she need and what’s the process? TIA.

Interested in getting my Thai wife a tourist visa for the UK and have a few questions about the process. Firstly VSF Global offers assistance with filling out the form but one needs to fill out the form before making an appointment to sign up for the service (Catch-22 🙂 ). Likely she must just fill out best she can and they edit it before submitting. I’m wondering about other requirements as I’d like to get the necessary documents and information beforehand such as what evidence to supply for “family permission to be in the UK” (my Aunt we’re visiting has lived there for 82 yrs)? Quick question. From next month is the UK tourist visa extension increased to 45 days or 30 days still? Is the 45 days only on arrival?
