Just came back from laos on a multiple entry oa and they stamped me for a year without asking insurance certificate wich i did not have, lucky me, thanks Tod for thΓ© advices.

an OA visa <- that you get in your country before you come here, which requires a back ground check, medical certificate and proof of insurance DOES require insurance.

you're like the third of fourth report of people on multi-OA's who bounced out at a land border before the visa expired and were stamped in for a whole new year without being asked for insurance

you might need to go now and file a TM30. Each office has different rules on whether you need to do a new one after returning from a different country, even if your address hasn't changed from your last TM30. You would need to ask your office what their rules are.

90 day report is due after 90 consecutive days inside of Thailand.

can you tell me more about the Multi OA? what is it? i am currently on visa exempt and just renewed another 30 days. i have to exit next month. i would like to come back again just not sure of the best options for a visa run
