"Tarzan English" is a commonly recognized linguistic term referring to speakers who instinctively simplify their sentence structure when speaking with non-native English speakers. As in, "Me Tarzan, you Jane." 🤦🏻♂️
👆This. 🎯 When transiting to a flight from BKK to CUN in SFO, USCBP skeptically questioned my Thai wife, apparently in complete disbelief that she was only passing through San Francisco on her way to Mexico-- NOT planning or desiring to stay in the USA. 🙄 Personally, I cut up my US PR card years ago. Never going back.
