Hi Jennifer, I am from the UK and flew home to apply for my DTV. I was asked to PROVE my flights from UK - Thailand. If you lie in your application you run the risk of 'providing false information', which in my opinion, is not worth it if you are as in love with Thailand as I am. My visa was done in around 10 days and is valid for 5 years. You could get all your docs ready and apply outside of the UK as long as you tick all the requirements. I also flew to Malaysia to apply but had to get so many company tax documents, proof of residency in Malaysia etc that it wasn't worth it. It would have taken me weeks to do my books and supply the right docs that I made the decision to fly home.

They asked for proof of flight ticket, did you just screenshot a random flight?

did you fly back to the UK to apply or just leave Thailand and apply with the EVISA system online? I'm flying back to the UK in a few weeks specifically to apply and the flights are horrendous prices.

Also, does it say your DTV is for medical tourism or does it just state DTV?

Wowie. I was going to apply through my remote work but I'm in Thailand rn. Going to just get my braces dentist to give me some check up appointments and apply with those!

interesting. I'm remote with a contract etc etc but the soft power option seems much more straightforward.
